Know what happens before the first cut.
Leather manufacturing starts with decisions on paper. Define the product, approve a sample and agree on the production and delivery conditions before committing to an order.
Five stages. One agreed specification.
01 · RFQ and specifications
Send the product type, quantity, drawings or references, destination and target launch date. Separate essential requirements from options to price.
02 · Sampling
Review material, dimensions, construction, branding and finish. Record changes and approve the final reference before releasing production.
03 · Production
Confirm the approved specification, order breakdown and material plan. Agree on milestones and how any changes will be authorized.
04 · Quality control
Define inspection points, tolerances and acceptance criteria. Specify how appearance, dimensions and functional details will be checked.
05 · Shipping
Agree on packing, destination, delivery terms and customs responsibilities. Confirm freight and entry requirements for the actual shipment.
Plan quantities and timing together.
Plan your first order by product category. Review the quantity per style and colorway alongside your material choices and launch date.
